Nisha is a nonprofit professional with diverse experience focusing on the health and education sectors. Most recently, she compiled research for publications on health policy topics at the Milbank Memorial Fund and assisted in developing initiatives to increase circulation and readership..
Nisha also developed a curriculum promoting nutrition and wellness for immigrant and refugee children in Abu Dhabi, where she taught a 7-week course to 200 middle school students. As the Director of Education at Powerhouse NYC, Nisha developed a program connecting young mothers to career development and personal finance resources.
Nisha graduated from New York University with her Bachelor of Science in Global Public Health and Applied Psychology and a minor in Social and Public Policy. She also received a Global Programs Merit Scholarship. Besides her academic pursuits, Nisha is a musician who plays the flute, guitar, mellophone, and piano.
