Gina brings 17 years of public accounting experience to FMA, including 10 years in nonprofit and governmental accounting and financial reporting. Most recently she was Director of Finance at the Greater Providence (Rhode Island) YMCA, where she prepared separate monthly financials for nine locations and worked with personnel at each location to ensure adherence to fiscal policy and internal control procedures.
As an Audit Senior Manager for LGC&D LLP—a position she held for more than a decade—Gina managed timelines and deadlines for multiple projects and teams, presented to client management and board members, evaluated the effectiveness and operations of internal controls and financial policies, and developed and conducted training for clients and staff on a variety of technical accounting matters. In addition, she was a Founding Member and Leader of LGC&D’s Women Aligned for Growth, Opportunities and New Challenges initiative.
Gina is on the board of the Rhode Island College Foundation and the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities and was a 2013 Providence Business News 40 Under Forty honoree. She graduated from Rhode Island College with Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Spanish.
