As an associate consultant in FMA’s Outsourcing Department, Arhum helps clients in the nonprofit sector with outsourced accounting services including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, processing payroll transactions, reconciling bank accounts and producing and analyzing financial reports. Arhum graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting and Business, Management and Finance.
At Brooklyn College, Arhum worked as an Accounts Payable Analyst, where he conducted campus-wide training workshops to train 100+ faculty members on significant payment procedures. As a Charity Analyst Intern at the Better Business Bureau, he reviewed audited financial, programmatic, fundraising and other materials from charities in order to determine the charities’ compliance with the BBB’s 20 Standards for Charity Accountability.
Arhum served as Treasurer of Brooklyn College’s Health and Awareness Club and is fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
