Adenike is a skilled financial leader with extensive experience in financial analysis, planning, budgeting, project management and grants management for a wide range of organizations including Arts, Advocacy and Youth Development. For FMA’s clients, she assists in all areas of grants management, including preparing budgets, financial narratives and other documentation and ensuring compliance with restricted and government grants. Adenike also oversees all levels of transactional support and managerial-level activities including budgeting, forecasting, and producing and analyzing financial reports. Her skills include preparing organizations for their external audit and implementing financial reporting systems.
Prior to joining FMA, she was the Managing Director of Finance—part of the Senior Leadership Team—for iMentor Inc, a nationwide college-success mentoring organization. There, she was responsible for budgeting, compliance, forecasting, financial modeling and analysis. As the financial representative for the organization, she helped tell iMentor’s financial story to external stakeholders.
At other organizations, including 50CAN Inc., New Leaders Inc. and Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation, Adenike developed extensive experience facilitating or leading the audit process, developing operational and process improvements, implementing new tools, and managing budgets.
Adenike earned a BS in Finance from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University.
