Andrew Niklaus has worked in non-profits for fifteen years, helping organizations design, implement and evaluate programs. Prior to coming to Tipping Point Andrew worked at Fresh Lifelines for Youth as their Associate Director, helping FLY develop and implement their theory of change. Previously, he worked at First Place for Youth as their Vice President of Programs. During his time at First Place Andrew developed and implemented their theory of change, and lead the formative evaluative efforts that tested the fidelity of the model. Andrew also worked at Larkin Street Youth Services in their employment and education program. Andrew has been active in the performance management field, first as a member of Social Solutions’ National Advisory Board, and later as a part of Charity Navigator’s Advisory Panel, which was charged with helping to improve the way high-performing nonprofit organizations are evaluated and rated for excellence. Andrew has a BA in English from UC Davis, and enjoys the beach, reading, hiking and spending time with his kids playing lacrosse, soccer and baseball.
